Hello,
We have a Kuka KR6-2 robot that we have not used in a few months. Earlier this week we powered on the KRC2 controller, however, nothing is being displayed on the teach pendant (a KCP2-SP).
When we first powered on the controller, a CMOS Checksum error was displayed on the teach pendant. We replaced the motherboard battery (a CR2032) with a new one, hooked up a keyboard and pressed F1 to get pass the error. The teach pendant screen was working fine at this point and it booted into the KUKA program correctly. After powering down the controller and turning it back on, the pendant will not display anything. The PC in the controller is on (as the fans are spinning) and we have checked to make sure it is not the back light in the teach pendant. We disconnected the teach pendant from the KVGA card and plugged in an external monitor (as suggested by Kuka technical support), however, nothing was displayed.
Reading through similar threads it seems likely that this is a KVGA card issue. We are unsure if there is a definitive way to make sure it is the KVGA card before ordering a new one? Or is the external monitor not displaying anything when the PC is powered on sufficient evidence to say it is the KVGA card?
Thanks for your help!
