Hello all.
My Robot is KR10R900-2 and the controller is KCR4 compact.
I wish to use TCP/IP communication or UDP so that my robot acts as a server and can get data from another device (client). I don't have a PLC. We might not have it as well- So the client would be another computer placed in another room. I read throught the forum to understand that one requires Ethernet KRL option package which will cost.
So the question is, is the communication possible without purchasing this package? Only through programming in KRL or something? If yes, is it possibe to get some server example codes from somewhere?
PS - the question is because I have worked previously with Stäubli Robot and one can code in VAL3 (Stäubli programming language) and can set port and write the send and get method to make communication. No need of any configuration package to be installed or involve.
