I am facing a problem with some old fanuc robots. My customer has 2 existing unused robots in his plant and he wants to use them in a new project in another plant. So i load my programs in which i use background logic for data exchange with the PLC and for other purposes. The robots have R30iA controllers manufactured in 2008 (V 7.30P/39). The first problem i am facing is that i have 40 ms scan time for 2 simple background logic programs. But the main problem is that i saw my data not to be updated because background logic freeze. This happened 3 times after cold start and i had to stop and run again my background programs to start again updating my values. Does anyone face similar problem with background logic before?
