krc2 to krc2ed05

    Teachpendant also has to be replaced.
    And maybe your ESC board, depends on the version.

    And the points that panic mode mentioned.


    So..

    Its cheaper and more easy to find a complete ed05 controller, without the robot.
    There are many out there waiting for a new owner.

    Where can i find in europe used complete krc2ed05 in good prices

    (also with faults i know to do electronics repairing)

    I have updated the celeron cpu with PIII tualatin 1.4ghz & 1.5gb ram

    I have installed in ssd (ata to sata adapter) win xp emdebed sp1 with kss 5.4.7 and works

    but this is kss 5.4.7 not kss ed05.

    I ask for ed05.

    ED05 Is the PC hardware not the software

    I have read that krc2 ed05 does not have problem with the size of code files..

    I want the robot for milling and the codes are big in size.

    So i have read the krc2 has problem with big code files but krc2ed05 is ok.

    This is the reason why iam searching for krc2ed05.

    If i want used krc2ed05 cabinets with or without problem(if has problem i can fix it)

    where can i find in europe at good prices?

    all KSS versions have problem with large file size. and that is not about to change any time soon. the limits are just a bit wider with newer versions. this is why products like CamRob exist.

    The memory problem is not related as controller version. Ed05 only hardware revision. It mean if you buy even Ed05, memory problem will not solved this way.



    The system software can be same with Ed05 controller and old KRC2. You can upgrade your old KRC2 controller to Ed05 software without any cost, if you have MFC2 or 3 with DSE IBS C33.



    e.g. upgrade KSS5.4.14 to KSS 5.6.12 but memory is always limited.
