I am planning on connecting a UR cobot to Ignition SCADA via Modbus TCP in order to send alerts whenever the robot enters protective stop or emergency stop.
I've set up the connection within Ignition and I managed to collect data from the cobot, but if the it is shut down or loses connection, whenever I start it up/recconect it to the network I cannot collect data anymore. If the cobot does recconect, it does that after a long time (after the last test it took 10 minutes). Is there anything I can look into at the moment to sort it out?
I have found a case with a PLC recconection where the reconnection time/retry of Ignition was almost the same of the PLC ( at the moment I can't find the recconetion time for the cobot - I have tried a couple recconection times for Ignition but I am still having issues).
