IRB 120 lost revolution counters after system restart

  • Hello to all, we are having problem with IRB 120 with IRC5 Compact controller. After doing system restart robot reported error 50057 for axes 4 and 5:


    E Motion 50057 Joint not synchronized The position of joint rob1_4 after power down/failure is too far away from the position before the power down/failure.

    E Motion 50057 Joint not synchronized The position of joint rob1_5 after power down/failure is too far away from the position before the power down/failure.


    After this robot needs rev. counter update. System doesn't report any error with SMB board, encoders or brakes during production operation. SMB battery is recently replaced. Do you have any idea what could cause such problem, no visible damage of cables, encoders, SMB board.


    This is happening once every couple of months.

  • Cambiar la tarjeta SMB, otra opción es comprobar el cableado interno del robot, una vez que el cable ha sido falsificada, tengo que reemplazarlo.
