I have a fixture with 2 separate parts and programs that share the same user frame 1 data. Last week one of the parts randomly shifted about 1/2". I checked the 3 master points on fixture which were off by about 1/2". I reset them which corrected one part and shifted other part by 1/2". Only strange thing I saw was the first program that shifted was cued up in the PROGRAM SHIFT menu. I created a dummy program to fill this menu and avoid any shifting but it keeps inserting the other program. Any thoughts on this?

Are you saying that you believe someone used the PROGRAM SHIFT utility to shift one of the parts on the fixture? If that is the case you can just use the PROGRAM SHIFT to shift one part back to the correct position.
Touching up a user frame will shift ALL positions in every program that use that user frame reference, which is why touching it up fixed one part but skewed the other. a PROGRAM SHIFT can be used to shift some or all of the points in a single program.

All of the operators deny adjusting anything, the program has been corrected. I just wonder how it got shifted. I noticed the program shift menus display name of last selected program so maybe an operator was fumbling through menus and accidentally shifted it.

It would be easy to fat finger the program shift if it was used previously and wasn't cleared. If you go to the Program Shift menu and hit the Next button there should be a softkey option to clear all the data.
