I apologize if my etiquette is lacking , this is all new to me.
I have gained responsibility for an R30iB
Arc Mate 120iC that from what I gather has lost mastering and Zero position.
Backing up a little bit here.
This system has been in our brand new facility for almost 2 years, commissioned and then idle untill now.
Recently, I was asked to take over responsibility as my boss is leaving the company to return to Europe. He told me the battery needed to be replaced and had been leaving power on so as to retain it's data.
Looking at the pendant I did indeed see a PLAL alarm low battery. I ordered a replacement battery.
Also, I received error servo 62 BZAL for loss of mastering and position.
Battery arrived and when I installed it I still receive both errors I assume the battery error just needs to be cleared or something and then I would need to attempt to find a procedure for mastering and Zero position.
However, I measured the voltage of the battery that I pulled and it reads 3.1 Vdc.
Again I assume but that doesn't seem low enough to me that I should have lost the mastering etc...
I know the robot was operable at one time after it was commissioned.
Thoughts?
Also, if anyone would be so kind as to give me enough info to get me started I'm sure I'll catch on. I know from what I've read here that I need to jog the robot in joint mode for a one full revolution to resolve the encoder and then to set all of my axis zeros and define my limits. However knowing and doing are two different things and I am below novice.
Any help offered is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
