Can someone help me why we loose the system of the robot every few weeks. We have replaced the batteries in the first pic but I dont see any other batteries can they be in the second pic of the power supply?

What version is the controller? M97, 98? In other words, S4, S4C?
S4C. The 2 batteries in the first picture are for the controller memory and are the only ones in the controller.
Under what circumstances does this happen? What is its status when it happens?
The machine the robot works with is not used, so the robot is standing in home position with the key in manual mode. I know the robot has this problem and when I check on it sometimes it is fine sometimes the system is gone then I have to load key disk and the boot disks restore a backup and update revolution counters
It is a S4c with IRB 1400.
What is the time interval between checking? Days, weeks, months?
Morning every second week.
sometimes the system is gone
Can you provide more detail on what the controller and teach pendant status is when the "system is gone"? Do you find it with the teach pendant locked up, error messages, asking for key disk … ?
Morning here is a pic of the pendant, you cant access anything.
That is the key disk prompt screen that appears after the controller passes its cold start hardware diagnostics. Part of the diagnostics is to measure the controller batteries and it should report them low if the batteries were a problem.
New question: After reloading the system, power the controller off and when turning it back on, does it reboot back to the warm start screen?
I also can't help wondering if someone is cold starting the controller.
Halo I did test the batteries they are 3.6V and 3.7 if I switch the controller off it returns to the two pics below. We did have a power dip last night with 5 robots on this side of the factory but this was the only one I had to install the system again.
Try leaving it off for a longer time and see if it dumps the operating system.
Try reseating the 3 computer boards. Reseating them will dump the operating system. Also be careful of the brittle plastic front covers when trying to pull the boards out.
If none of that works, try replacing the Robot CPU first.
hallo
I am getting this error now in the pic and I have tested the +15v -15 on the power supply and traced the circuit but I would like to know does anyone have a diagram for the rest of the 15v circuit. When I restart the robot it works then about 3 hours later gives the same error again.
Thank you
The +15V & -15V from the power supply go to the drives & DC Link. The 39105 is generated by the DC-Link if the +15V is out of tolerance. When measuring the +15V & -15V, also measure with the AC scale - there should be less than 20mV of AC. This is a typical problem with these power supplies.
someone, have a full system for abb s4c, cause the system is corrupt. but i dont have any backup.
it's not so simple ,
what means Sistem is Corrupt ?
be more explicit
