Our system is KRC4 8.5.7 HF1 and KR 90 R3100 extra HA.
We will also have some Kuka positioners (KP1,KP2) that during welding proces will be kinematically coupled.
In other situations then welding (tool change, etc.) we don't want that the positioners move while the robot is moved.
Putting the axes of the positioners in asynchronous mode with the command $ASYNC_AXIS will be the solution.
In the manual is stated that a reset sets back the external asynchronous axes to synchronous mode.
Is this the only way an external asynchronous axis can be reset to synchronous mode, except the $async_axis command in the code?
What if an emergency stop occurs? What if the cabinet is rebooted with hibernate setting?
I just want to be sure I have no unexpected motions of my external axes when I am f.i. changing my tool.
