Does anyone know if you can purchase manuals from Fanuc directly or do you have to take their classes?

It seems to me that they are usually more than happy to take your money. But, if you mean training class type manual instead of just product and tech manuals, you might have to take the class.

Unless something has changed recently, the answer is yes.
You can also get manuals when you order software.

there are countless sites with Fanuc Manuals uploaded.
scribd.com is one of them.

I got a quote from Fanuc for the DCS manual last year for $110. To give you an idea on price of manuals, per.
Seeing as how the latest Fanuc manual CD has 68 manuals on it, it would be quite a bit to purchase each one individually.

Just checked, Fanuc cRc shows them in the Part Search if you have the manual number.

Fanuc will sell you most manuals, but will ask questions if you try to buy others: I recently purchased a basic user/controller manual for the R-30iB controller with an LR-Mate 200iC (I think it was $100) and they didn't ask any questions. When I tried to buy the mechanical maintenance manual and electrical maintenance manual, I had to tell them I have taken Fanuc classes in-person at Rochester Hills, and worked for ASIs for 10+ years before they would let me purchase them. (I think the mechanical manual was $100 and the electrical was $200.)

Did you try my.fanuc.eu portal? They have most of manuals for free.

I just tried to register with them. If they do offer the manuals for free, this will be an amazing resource for those of you who don't have access to the CRC's manual section.
Fingers crossed.
