Yeah, McMaster charges a premium for having everything in one place.
Generally I use McMaster for getting a prototype up and running. In general you can usually find out where McMaster is sourcing their stuff, then go directly to their source if you want to do a larger run. They are typically pretty bad about removing the labels of where they bought it.
