    Hello,

    I have an IRB1400 M2002 with S4C+ controller.

Previous owner provide me backup file, but it takes 2.7MB disk space. It is impossible to be restored using floppy drive because floppy disk capacity is 1.44MB and file can not be splitted.

I tried to connect USB emulator on floppy bus, but robot didn't recognized connected device. I try also with another one USB emulator, but result was same - when I try restore, robot offer hard disk and option UNIT to change device; after choosing UNIT, robot tried to connect with external device but with no succeed. It works only if I connect floppy dis instead USB emulator. I tried also to choose some address on emulator, but with no difference.

Considering that someone before took backup of 2.7MB for sure there is the way how to restore it now. Could someone advise me what to do to complete my task as well?

    BR/

    Schelle

    Hello,

I'll try to do that, but I'm doubt because robot didn't achieved to recognize external device itself if it isn't floppy.

Have you tried to do this with FTP? Should not be a problem with S4C+.

    Get filezilla.

You will also need a crossover cable if connecting directly between a laptop and the ABB service port.

Search the forum and you will find lots of info regarding connecting to the S4C+ service port.

If I already sent new created system to S4C+ controller thru same cable, is that means that cable is useful for FTP as well?
