    Hi everyone,

I have problem about DeviceNET configuration at ABB S4C+. I can't create new I/O unit type or change among existing unit as a default. I need to create communication with S4C+ and Beckoff deviceNET bus coupler. I created I/O unit but I need a I/O unit type which inculude Beckoff "vendorid, product type etc.". How can I create a new I/O unit type?

Save your EIO.cfg and edit it using a text editor. You will find the necessary information for vendor ID and all that in the EDS file. You will have to read it and take the info you need from it into your unit type in the EIO.

I have edited EIO file using Robotstudio and I've stored in the Backup file but when I restore backup file in the S4C+. I received error about EIO file.

So I can't restore backup file when I edit EIO file. Thank you from now.

    Changed EIO file

Use a text editor instead of RS, It is likely that it is saving in an incompatible way for S4C+. Add it to CAN2 if it is external.
