I have a RJ2 420I with a B controller that is getting no power to any of the boards. The PSU has incoming voltage and a green Led but no 24 going out.

Have you checked both of the green fuses on the PSU? I believe they are normally both 7.5A fuses

There is an inaccessible fuse in series with the transformer windings. I would ring out the transformer and make sure you don't have any open windings.

Also make sure the transformer taps are in the correct positions for your incoming power.

You said all the fuses on the PSU.
Did you check for a the small green fuse on the door?

Have you tested your control power from estop to control boards?
Do you have a back up PSU to try?

Check the OFF switch on the SOP and make sure it is not stuck in slightly. This is a normally closed switch.
Assuming you are not using an external ON/OFF, make sure the jumper between TBOP2-2 & -3 is installed.

Without having much experience in Fanuc specifically, but electrically:
1. Is it possible the 24V from the PSU is overloaded, therefore reducing the output by either failed component or harnessing short circuits.
2. Is there anyway of isolating the output from the PSU by systematically removing the components that the PSU supplies without losing data etc.
- Just to see if the 24V becomes available without a specific component connected.
- This could highlight where the problem may lie.
