Multiple Errors IRB 4400 - M2000 controller.

  • Good Morning,

We're having alot of issues with our M2000 controller. We got it to run yesterday and it ran for about half an hour before one of the main 480v lines blew a fuse. After replacing the blown fuse whenever we tried to move the robot back to home it would show 38666 - Low DC-Bus voltage. Along with these errors.

    38600 - Main Phase MIssing

    38500 - DC-Link over Temp.

    38501 - Bleeder Overload

38353 - Lost Dr. System Comm.

I tried restarting the controller properly and the same errors pop up. If someone could shed some light on this situation it would be greatly appreciated.

  • Make sure the 262V 3-ph (480 for 66/7600) is getting to contactor K1 by checking wires labeled 1, 3, & 5. To make sure I'm not measuring an induced voltage, I usually use a low-impedance tester (wiggy) instead of my high impedance digital meter. Are K1 & K2 pulling all the way down when the deadman is enabled? If the voltage is there and K1 & K2 are good, make sure the 3-ph voltage is getting to the DC-Link (rectifier).
