Weld pro doubt - Backup issue

    I usually use BACKDATE.DT ( "all of the above" backup) and put that into my weldpro cell and i get everything( all TP programs, DI DO data, weld sch,Register data etc), in my weldpro same as whats on the floor.


    Now i need to take the BACKDATE.DT file from old robot Roboguide Version 5.3 to new version 9.1 cell in weld pro .


    In this case, weldpro does not allow me to upload BACKDATE.DT in new version because the backup is taken from old version. But, i can take backup of all TP programs from old and put all of them in new version cell in weldpro. All TP programs runs well , but i dont get any other information just the TP programs.


    But what if i need all other information too ( like DI DO , Registers, etc) , Is there any way that i can do that?

    You can make your weldpro cell based off the old backdate.dt, then go to controller properties > Serialize Robot > create as a modification of the existing robot > next. Then select software version 9.1.
