We have a couple S-430iw Arms with RJ-3 Controllers that are in excellent condition. Due to company rules on dual channel safety circuits, we can't use them in the plant. Are the S-430 arms compatible with a RJ-3ib controller? Are there any other options for controllers? A co-worker told me Fanuc wants more than the robots are worth to upgrade. I hate to throw perfectly good robots in the recycle bin.

I have an old Fanuc S-480R robot that is in great condition. I bought some goods at an auction and this was the amongst them. The controller unfortunately is non-existent. Is there a world that exists where I can get this robot operational and if so, what would be the most economical way?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
