Hi! I have the same problem, if you could resolve it, Would you tell me please
Do you sure you turn off the caps lock
stop just posting spam - learn to COMMUNICATE.
if your only goal is to just post something on internet, go elsewhere (tweeter, facebook etc.) . let this site stay clean and professional for people who are serious about using robots.
if you are serious about asking for help here. ask question - PROPERLY.
messages without key info are useless and you WILL be treated as spammers. to learn how to ask meaningful questions, try reading pinned topic read READ FIRST.
every topic needs some DETAILS. only then forum members can offer help:
> if question is software related, post KSS version number etc.
> if question is hardware related, post hardware model, version etc.
etc.
use your head before posting something useless. for example. how is model of the robot arm relevant if issue is related to password? do you think that password is stored somewhere on the robot arm?
that is just stupid. it is no different that calling IT help and saying i cannot login to my computer.... but my mouse is from Logitec. useless info.... think before you post.
and stop buying junk or some "bargains" and then ask here how to LEARN to repair robots or make them work. when spending money tell seller that you will only buy something if it is in working order, with documentation incl schematics and all passwords. if you want to LEARN, take KUKA training (programming, electrical and mechanical servicing) and THEN feel free to shop at junk yards. if you don't know anything about robots, stay clear of questionable units.
you would not buy a car wreck and think it is appropriate to pester busy car mechanic to leave that he is doing, just do he can teach you for free how to repair your wreck. why do you think that is ok with robots?

I was going to just skim by this but it bugs me too much. Im only on this forum to seek help, not to pat professionals on the back and wish I knew as much as them. You took at least 15 minutes of mashing the keyboard just to call this person stupid in 6 different ways, offer no help, and basically told him not to get into robots.
I think robots are awesome and encourage anyone to use this forum to research, ask questions, and integrate them into their business. Your response is sour and I hope youre not petty enough to ban me for calling you out on it.
yes that was harsh, i have my moments too. probably overreacted... oh well.
"but it bugs me too much" that is exactly what i felt at the moment. now that i read it,
"call this person stupid" not the word i used and i was not someone specific
"offer no help"? i don't know. i think i did. like when asking for help to provide details, how to prioritize what to mention.
"basically told him not to get into robots." still wrong. i stated how not to get hosed by a shady deal.
simply saying that deal is off unless docs are present, passwords are known and robot moves can save a lot of headache. don't buy a lemon.
"I hope youre not petty enough to ban me for calling you out on it" nope, i actually like your post. you put some thought in their post. that is what i expect from those seeking help.

Thanks for a good response. I accept being wrong about you, and thanks for being decent about it.
did you found the safety maintenance password? could you help me, I have same problem
Hi AreLo & msomsan
We just bought a used robot (KR210 KC2 ed05_ Related to the old Mercedes-Benz robots) and unfourtunately we find out that we haven't sfety maintenance password and It's looklike impossible to find and ask the password from supplier, just same as the problem that you had and asked in forum 2 years ago
did you found the safety maintenance password? could you help me to solve it
thanks a lot
Well the default password is "KUKA". If this password does not work there is no way to find out the current password that probably Daimler setup. That's called safety! No manipulation should be possible and is here. Either contact your vendor who did not provide all necessary information or setup up the system completely from scratch (installing Windows Embedded, installing KSS, ...). Your vendor should have provided you with the corresponding installation packages and CDs.
Fubini
Afair the default password is 'kuka' not 'KUKA' .
One suggestion: may be it's possible to deinstall / install safe operation only.
