Just powered up an s4c m99 controller and it doesn't attempt to boot .red leds on all computer and memory cards, has anyone had experience of this?

    Hi,

    What is the robot history?
Connect to console port in robot computer with serial cable and check the messages at power on.
    What is in TPU display?
If the robot dosen't have system, or the program unimportant or you have a backup, disconnect the batteries, wait 1-2minute, reconnect, and switch on. If it isn't ok, pull off/on the two computer and memory cards, and switch on.

Never tried it without a DSQC532(x) I/O computer. I have had a bad I/O computer keep it from booting a few times.

If you power up without the robot serial measurement unit communicating (unplugged or otherwise), it does take a much longer time to boot.

Powering up without the motor cable attached give an motor PTC over-temp within the first few minutes.

it still doesn't, and the light for the power supply isn't led while the io boards and the one on the right are all on fault

This thread was originally for an M99 S4C IRB6400R. Is this the same? See attached.

If it is the same, are you saying the 'AC Ok' LED on the power supply is not lit?

Is the generator 3-phase output correct?

Is the controller transformer input taps configured for the input voltage.

To get the 'AC OK' LED to come on, the power supply needs 55VAC 3-ph at connector X1 on the top right corner.

Do you measure approx. 55VAC 3-ph at connector X1 on the top right corner of the power supply?

My assumption was this was an M99 as stated in the title. Can I assume you have an S4C+?

What is the status of the LED on the power supply - Off, Red, or Green?

Seems like a bad power supply.
