Hello, I am from FANUC background and never used PROFINET. I need to setup ABB robots to communicate with Siemens PLC and FESTO valve-banks. FANUC communicating on Ethernet we just set IP address of robot controller ports to be within range of device, choose adapter or scanner, then populate IP adress of the device, Vendor ID, assembly instances and so on. What are the steps for setting up PROFINET on ABB IRC5?
