Under KSS 8, the various file-access functions (fopen, fgets, etc) can only access /Roboter/Userfiles on the C drive (or mounted network shares). This has always annoyed me, b/c I'd like to access (for example) my EKI configuration XML files, and check the IP address settings.
And something just occurred to me (when I don't have a KRC to experiment with what about symbolic links? Has anyone tried making a symlink (hard or soft) between /Roboter/Userfiles and other files, elsewhere on C:, and accessing the link with fopen?
Next time I have a KRC handy, I have definitely got to try this.
