Motoman Hyper feed wire feeder not feeding wire

    We have a Motoman UP20M robot with an XRC 2001 controller and Hyper feed wire feeder. the welder is a 650 amp Thermal Arc welder.
    The wire will not feed through the pendant nor the jog button at the feeder. there are no error codes. there is 24 volts at the feeder.

    I had a similar problem in past. I found that relays to of feeder motor was not working properly then I replaced them and problem went away. I work cell had NX100 robot and with Miller as welding power source. I am quite not sure about other power source such as Lincoln. But I believe they all work on same principle.

    If you are unable to feed or retract from pendant than this must be the case. If you are only unable to feed from pendant than your relays are good you may need to play some internal settings.

    Please note:- My feeder is getting power from Miller Power source. Hence I have looked only into that. Custom setup may have a different scenario.
