Hello! Help solve the problem. after the next power up of the controller, on the smartpad after the launch of the reference application, the error messages “Error ib safe device. Safety Control is paused” appeared. after resetting the error, it appears again, and does not allow the drive to turn on. At the forum I looked, they write that the problem may be in the fuses in the KRC.
Added another KRCDiag file.
Photos are attached.
iiwa 7 R800. sunrise 1.16, error in safe device. safety control is paused.

Seems like a fuse problem. Check them with a multi-meter and change the defective one(s).

Hi there,
I know this thread has been inactive for a while, but I'm having the exact same error message with our iiwa (Position sensor not mastered, Encoder error torque sensor, Error in safe device, safety control paused). I checked all the fuses and they do not seem to be the problem. I was wondering if you managed to solve your issue, and if the problem was indeed the fuses or something different.
Thanks!!

Same here, panel shows:
Safety Control
! Position sensor not mastered. (K1: A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, A7)
! Torque sensor not referenced (K1: A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, A7)
! Safe axis torque invalid. (K1: A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, A7)
X Actuator device error. (K1: A4, A5, A6, A7)
X Error in safe device. Safety control is paused.
We were able to unmaster, but cannot remaster in KRF.
About to check the fuses but we don't expect the problem to be there.
Any ideas how to solve this?

Same here....

We did solve it, but I have no recollection on how exactly.
I do not recall replacing fuses or doing anything on the hardware side.
I'll ask around in our lab. Might just have been retrying until successful...

Did you ask around ?
I am still fighting with the problem

Yes but unfortunately there was no clear recall of the actual problem and solution
I don't think we accessed the Sunrise directly, hardware nor software. Might just have been fully powering off and on a few times but I assume you've tried that.
The fact we do not remember properly might be due to the trivial solution.

Oh, God. My friend. I also unfortunately encounter this problem. Some of posts said this problem is caused by the fuse. But where is the fuse located?? Looking forward to your replay, Thank you.

Here is a link to an old problem where is more information about the fuse.

KUKA iiwa Device State ErrorThank you for your reply, Sir. But do I need to open the heavy controller box?? I am not the hardware tech guy. I am not sure if I can handle it. Could you show me how to replace the fuse step by step? Thank you. : )

I encountered the same problem. Did you resolve it?
