How would I setup my Fanuc Controller (J-30iB with StopTool) to operate a weld gun without a robot. In the Controlled Start maintenance screen it shows there is a M-10ia/10M in group 1 and it will not let me clear that out. Am I in the right place?

    Thanks,

I am not sure this would work, but could you just disable group motion (under the test menu) and then run the torch? It is a bit out of my wheel house, as I don't work on welders that often.

Check out the Fanuc position converter I wrote here! Now open source!

Check out my example Fanuc Ethernet/IP Explicit Messaging program here!

Disabling the group in the test menu didn't fix the problem. I am still faulted out with SRVO-075 pulse not established on Grp 1 axis 1. I think the controller is expecting a robot to at least be plugged in. I literally have the J-30iB controller without a robot at all. There has to be a way to just disable group 1 at a lower level.
    Thank for the help.

Weather you use the robot or not, it still needs to be connected.

Try setting the axis order for 1-6 to 0
