Hello iam new to forum. And new to programming robots. I'am trying to use a GETPOS function to record the position of input on and i keep getting a position variable undefined alarm. I'am trying to put it in #p001. If there is another way to do this or if I am doing something wrong let me know. Thanks in advance.

The GETPOS gets the position of a previously recorded step in the active job and puts it into a position variable.
GETPOS P000 STEP#2
This would write/overwrite the data in P000 with the pulse count position of step 2 in the job. P000 would also be in the same tool that step 2 was recorded in.

So now I got the math and the getpos Function to work how can i get the robot to move to the calculated position?

In the INFORM LIST, under MOTION, you will have MOVJ, MOVL, etc. to Position Variables.
