Seamtech XML + RSI VisualShell

  • .RSI files can be opened in RSIVisual. A .RSI file is a special XML file that basically ties together a number of XML (and other) files in an RSI project.

If your project doesn't have a .RSI file, you're out of luck.

Now, I haven't used SeamTech, so I can't speak to it specifically. But Force-Torque Control, which also uses RSI, creates "projects" that cannot be opened and edited using RSIVisual. However, FTC uses "Template" files located elsewhere in the robot, and these Templates can be opened and edited using RSIVisual. If you know what you're doing. If you edit the correct Template, then create/edit your FTC project, the changes to the Template should carry through into the FTC project.

I'd give it 75% odds that SeamTech works the same way.
