I have a 100ib with RJ3 controller. On cold start the devicenet motherboard powers up with four green LEDs at the top but no LED on either the DNP or DN3 daughterboards. I've tested both boards in other controllers and they work, and I have 24VDC on the CAN header on the front of the board. I'm pulling my hair out and of course I have a deadline for commissioning.
RJ3 DNP/DN3 DNET no lights on power up

Do you have appropriate software option for using DNET? Moreover, did you check the power supply for DNET circuit? 24VDC has to be supplied to the card (both mother/daughter) from outside.

Yes, I have the 24VDC at the 5 pin connector on the front of the card. I just did an all software install with reburn media provided by fanuc to install torchmate. The DNET is for arclink communications with a Lincoln powerwave.

Has this ran and quit or is it initial start up.
One thing that gave me fits in the past was baud rates.
They all have to match.

Is this a 455R? Can you verify that it works with another controller?
When you select the PowerWave 455 in the ArcTool Setup menu at Controlled Start and then do a cold-start, it automatically sets up the port to communicate with the welder. If it is setup, you should get a Weld EQ Offline alarm on startup.
I don't remember connecting 24V to the port, just plugged in the Arclink cable and it worked.
Look under Software in the Status menu and verify the DeviceNet option is installed.
