I am using the current version of Roboguide, and I have their standard gripper on my robot and I can't get it to work. I can get the hand to work, but not the grippers. Am I just stupid or is there something that I am not doing to make them work in a program or simulation. Any help would be appreciated.

I think you wanted to actuate the gripper, if so use actuator in the simulation tab of the gripper..

I did. Nothing that I try makes the gripper close. I'm wondering if I have to set more up with it. When I set up the hand, I had to add the gripper chuck and the jaws. Do I have to do the same? If so, what?

I did. I was able to get the bin picking tool to open and close through setting up the macro short cuts, but everything I try to get the gripper to work doesn't work.
