YRC1000 PENDANT

    With enough time and money. The YRC1000 has a smaller diameter connector. The pendant, cable, and internal harness would have to be changed in the controller. The software would probably have to be modified.


    The only controller that I know of that has an interchangeable pendant is the NX100 controller. The NX100 controller can have the standard NX100 pendant or the DX100 pendant as long as the software is at least NS5.00 and above. The only reason for this was the tsunami.

    I know a thing or two, because I’ve seen a thing or two. Don't even ask about a third thing. I won't know it.

    That's what I figured. Trying to see if there were other options out there because we are an integrator trying to set up a new robot and the customer opted for the smart pendant. It would have been fine but Motoman removes the standard pendant when you do that. The smart pendant is pretty much useless for integrating a robot. Here's a small list of things you can't use the smart pendant for.
