Hi all
I have just recieved a reconditioned irb6400r from a customer,powered up ok and fitted a usb drive.i can load parameters from usb to the controller but although it can see the programs on usb flatly refuses to load any of them and comes back with program missing message.also will not let me create a program on the pendant. Any ideas?
Reload boot disks?

Try FTP to transfer to the robot's disk, then try to open it from there. I recommend Filezilla. Otherwise, you might try a P-Start before cold start and re-installing system.

i forgot to say i managed to copy the program to the robots storage but when i try to load it i get the same message, program missing.
i suspect its going to be quickest to reload the system but they have not supplied boot disks or key disk for this robot

I seem to vaguely remember something like that years ago. Check the error logs, might give you some clues. What about just a normal warmstart?

Been a long time since i did s4c+, what about when you do edit, show program, or check program?

i will check the error logs on monday but i cant create or edit any programs on the robot.
looking increasingly likely i will need a copy of robinstall,does anyone have a copy?

Check the logs. A system error can keep you from seeing the programs. Get the robot to the point where you can jog it and update the rev. counters. I'll guess you should be able to see your programs then.
