Dear panic mode
I am using kuka officelite (KUKA.OfficeLite KSS 8.3;V__83OLK_0007) in my PC and when i want modify the archive file with my current WorkVisual (Version 4.1 ) and when i press to generate code i see some errors in my work visual !!!
my actual question was this :
Why i can not open robot archive that i have created with my KUKA.OfficeLite in my current workvisual software ?
Does any relationship is between my actual kukaoffice and Workvisual ?
Reason of my question is this (in kuka documentation regrading the version that i am using Now is written
"Projects created with WorkVisual 3.0 can be transferred to the system software image, e.g. in order to simulate programs created in WorkVisual or configure the desired robot type. WorkVisual can be installed on the same host computer as KUKA.OfficeLite
but not on the same virtual image as KUKA.OfficeLite'' -
For KSS 8.3, You should be using WoV 4.x
What error WoV gives You when You compile the project?
-
Dear massula
I have installed WoV 4.1 instead my Previous Version that was Wov 3.1, but the result is same as before.
For better understanding you can take a look to these two pictures:Before Generate Code.jpg:I see this error in my WOV when I open it !!!!
After Generate Code.jpg: I see these errors when I press to generate code button in my WOV!!!!Note: if you look to picture of (Before Generate Code.jpg) you will see KR210 and it is so funny because I have
selected KR 150R3100 PRIME in KUKA.OfficeLite while setup finishing in my pc.Please check pictures regarding the Machine data configuration in my KUKA.OfficeLite
Does anybody knows about this problem or has same experience?

Hello, Rainman.
Do You have any other WoV project inside Your OL VM? Or only this WorkingProject? And what is the KSS version (three numbers) of Your OL?
From the pictures, Your WoV project has an unactivated controller (grayed out).
KR210 is the standard robot selected when You set up OL. This is strange.
-
And, only as a sidenote: the only time I've deployed a WoV project inside OL, I've also stumbled in some problems.
What exactly You are trying to achieve deploying this project?
Maybe You can delete all unused components inside this project, compile it only with what You changed, and merge Your project with the running project inside OL.

well... what is wrong with reading? you may not want to read READ FIRST topic or other posts but why not at least messages from your own read your own system?
it tells that there is a voltage mismatch so components used in project expect different supply voltage. more over messages also show links to proposals. why is it so hard to accept help from a computer when you need help? i cannot see this being any clearer....
for me OL works very nice. i am also using "KUKA.OfficeLite KSS 8.3;V__83OLK_0007" but have it upgraded to 8.3.34.
created bunch of different projects, including external axes etc. it just works... love it. it just works. helps with learning about the system, using WorkVisual, writing documentation, testing code etc. -
Hello again,massula
First of all, thank you for your help,
I don’t have any WoV project inside of OL VM.
WorkingProject is activated in my OL.
My KSS Version is 8.3.4Your question :From the pictures, Your WoV project has an unactivated controller (grayed out).
My Answer: I see the same fault even I activated robot controllerYour question :KR210 is the standard robot selected when you set up OL. This is strange
My Answer: Yes this is default robot type in OL, but I have selected another robot type as informed you before (KR 150R3100 PRIME), and that is strange and amazing!!!I have checked again the version of my WoV is 4.0.22!!!!
Your question :What exactly you are trying to achieve deploying this project?
My Answer: I need to deploy the project, for example I want to add one external axis to my robot cell,….
Your question :And, only as a sidenote: the only time I've deployed a WoV project inside OL, I've also stumbled in some problems.
My Answer:Yes my WoV is not install on the same virtual image as KUKA.OfficeLite .Hello Panic Mode.
Your question :It tells that there is a voltage mismatch so components used in project expect different supply voltage. More over messages also show links to proposals. Why is it so hard to accept help from a computer when you need help? i cannot see this being any clearer....
My Answer: as you have explained ,I have removed all error by the system proposal ,but when I deploy it in my OL VM ,KSS will show an error message about wrong machine data and etc ,,,By the way I have attached my robot archive that was created by OL VM.
many thanks because your considerations.

Hello, Rainman.
My suggestion:
Open Your project
Remove KR-210 robot
Pull KR-150 R3100 robot from DTM catalog
Compile the project again
Select SIB-STD for safety interfaceI've did this here, and project didn't give me any errors.
The only step that I can't perform here is deploy the project do OL, because I don't have OL right now.
I'm using WoV 4.0.31 #0537 (the last one from the 4.x series)

.... message?

I forgot to say: you can't install WorkVisual inside the virtual machine where OL is installed.
OL runs inside Windows Embedded, and I suppose WoV needs some library that is present only in regular versions of Windows.
But you can install other software, such as Notepad ++ (which is actually already installed), OrangeEdit or WinMerge.
