TIMERS on Fanuc

    Hello all,


    Can someone help me with Timers in a FANUC controller?


    Pseudocode:
    IF (condition), TIMER[1]=START
    R[X]=TIMER[1]
    IF R[X] > (desired time), TIMER[1]=STOP
    IF R[X] > (desired time), TIMER[1]=RESET


    That is, how can I know how long is from R [X] = 1 to R [X] = 2? It counts seconds or what?


    Is there any posibility using timers in any background program? Coz I think TIMERS cant be used on BG Logic.

    I am not sure what your code is meant to accomplish.


    If you Timer stop (desired time) value is less than your timer reset (desired time) then your timer would never reset.


    If you could explain what your goal is it may be easier to answer your question.


    And you can use timers in BG programs.
