siemens PLC profinet connection with kuka KRC4 compact without kuka profinet 3.2

    Dear Sirs ,
    I have kuka KRC4 compact controller , i tried to connect it as a slave device on SIEMENS PLC S7-1200 or S7-300 profinet network


    but unfortunately there aren't profinet 3.2 optional package installed on the robot controller


    how can i connect this robot controller as a slave without this package
    is there any solution ? urgent needed


    next projects question : if i want to add this package , is it only software package which installed on robot controller only or internal board must be added ?

    normally software should be pre-installed if robot was ordered with it.
    otherwise contact KUKA, tell them serial number of the robot and controller and they will help you

    KRC4 does not need additional hardware for ProfiNet or Ethernet/IP -- both of those Fielbusses are implemented over the built-in KLI port hardware as "virtual" network interfaces.


    They are paid-for options, on a per-robot basis.


    Without the ProfiNet option, there is no way to connect a KRC4 to a ProfiNet network.
