Hi Everyone,
We're looking for a solution for a 7th linear axis for our kuka (KUKA kr10 1100sixx with compact krc4 running kss 8.3.35).
We want to use a servo motor controlled by a servo drive and let the KRC4 to control this drive (so we will be able to create synced motion).
I read this post: https://www.robot-forum.com/robotforum/kuk…85886/#msg85886
But I'm still not sure about the answer to my question -> Does KRC4 support Beckhoff's ax5000 servo drive family through EtherCAT communication?
I heard that KUKA's electronics hardware is made by Beckhoff and that it should work, but it's just an assumption.
Did any one tried to pull it off?
(We are also trying to figure it out with KUKA's support, but it takes to much time with them).
Thanks!
