KLOGIC utilises the IO available on the 1HW/1TW boards, so I doubt it.
- Any connection I have been involved with has always been IO, TCP/IP, UDP and RS232 via a PLC (networked).
- I don't think Kawasaki has any direct drivers for connection directly to an HMI via the old RS232 or Ethernet.
- Maybe worth asking Kawasaki distributor if this is still the case, or possibly some new development is available.
Hi!
Yesterday I connected WEINTEK HMI with Kawasaki robot by using the Easybuilder pro software without using PLC. I used MODBUS TCP protocol.
ooooooh.......Please tell me more, have you any example setup instructions, I have one of those also and would love some pointers
Kwakisaki,
I read the manual(90210-1184DEK_General_Fieldbus_IO_Usage_Manual) about Modbus-TCP. It was enough for me.
I am going to made instruction and then I can send.
Hmmm......I missed that in the manual, something for me to look into now as I'm playing around with some HMI Panels and a WeinTek is one of them, so many thanks for pointing that out..........
Is anything known about this with Modbus-TCP in the meantime?Het is een feit dat u zich geen zorgen hoeft te maken.
eennd a display communication
Here in the Netherlands they have not used it, so it is very unknown tot them
Doesn't look like it.
Probably be quicker obtaining an HMS AnyBus Modbus TCP board and trying to develop something yourself and post back your results.
