HELP! Installation of an add-in in RobotStudio

Hi.

Details of my RobotStudio:

RobotStudio 6.07.01 SP1 (64-bit)
Version 6.07.7985.1011

I would like to install an add-in called CoordinateFile Import into the RobotStudio to import .csv file which has XYZ coordinates, but I don't know whether my procedure is correct, so I need guidance.

My procedure:

1. Copy the CoordinateFile Import file into this directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\ABB Industrial IT\Robotics IT\RobotStudio\Addins
However, it couldn't work.

2. Copy the CoordinateFile Import file into this directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\ABB Industrial IT\Robotics IT\RobotStudio 6.07\Bin\Addins
However, it couldn't work too.

I copied the entire CoordinateFileImport into this directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\ABB Industrial IT\Robotics IT\RobotStudio\Addins and launched 32-bit version of RS, but nothing happened .

Can you kindly show me the full step of installing this add-in? I'm rushing for my final year project and I really need this add-in to complete one of the tasks.

Anyone can guide me to install the add-in?

Nothing happened, no extra add-in button is created as mentioned from the website.

I followed all of your steps and launched the 32-bit version of RobotStudio, but nothing happened as well. The attachments are the result and the steps I did.

Questions:

1. Do I need to compile/build the CoordinateFile Import file before moving to the specific directory? If so, how should I do it? Using Microsoft Visual Basic?

2. Can you kindly share your CoordinateFile Import file here? I'm afraid the file that I downloaded from the website (http://developercenter.robotst…3a0-9817-5f413d16f450.htm) might be corrupted.

Mine gave my some pointers as to what was causing issues when trying to load it.

The attachment is the output message when launching the 32-bit version of RobotStudio.

1. When unzipping the CoordinateFile Import, there are two folders inside, one is CoordinateFile Import and another is Walkthrough. Do I need to move the "Walkthrough" folder as well?

2. Is it because of my license of RobotStudio cannot install an add-in?

Hi.

I successfully installed the add-in. It does show up under the add-ins section on the left, but the auto-load is not selected. After clicking the auto-load and relaunch the RobotStudio, a message is popped up (attachment), indicating to unblock the add-in file, but an error message (attachment) appears. The solutions to this problem can be found here: https://forums.robotstudio.com…nloaded-from-the-internet . I follow Solution 2 and finally, the add-in can be installed.
