In our project we are using a UR 10 that is controlled via scripts using a host PC. Sometimes at initialization, i.e. when we first boot the robot and the panel the error appears just when we send the script or the program to the robot, we thus get a "No Controller" warning on the robot panel. Once also it occurred when the robot was left for a long time in a protective stop condition, and another time it occurred during regular robot operation.
We suspect it could be a problem with the ethernet cable that is connected from the controller box to the robot, but we were also wondering if this could be a software issue that could be triggering this phenomena.
We are also afraid this might be a bigger controller issue in the safety control board or even in the motherboard.
Is there anyway we can get to the root of this problem?
