Expanding I/Os

Hi, guys...

Can somebody help me?
I have profinet connection between R-30iB robot controller and PLC.
There were 512 I/Os before and it was enough. Now I want to expand the number of I/Os up to 1024.
In the profinet connection settings on the Robot controller's side I have changed the number of I/O from 64 to 128 bytes. The same was done on the PLC side.

But I have some problems:
1. I don't understand how to expand the number of I/Os in the fanuc system from 512 to 1024. It remains the same.

2. I don't have communication with PLC but diagnostic says that everything is ok.

3. I have the error PMIO Chnl 2 slot 1 Idle

I don't understand how to solve this problem because I don't have experience in things like that.

Then set "Num. Dig. Ports".

Default is 512, maximum is 4096

Thanks. It helped. But not only that...
With this setting it didn't work:

The problem has gone only when on the robot's side and PLC's side we divided 128 bytes into 64 + 64 bytes.

Really don't understand what I have done, but now it works. May be somebody has a manual about profinet for R-30iB?

What card is that? Molex or Siemens? Which FW-version?
I only have experience with Siemens and normally you should be able to change the amount of signals in MENU - SETUP - Profinet screen.

Could you suggest where can I get this information? I'd like to know it too.
Inside the robot controller we have a switch. The profinet cable is connected to this switch.
