I have been documenting our robots a bit, trying to compile as much information as possible. The latest thing was the list of options Menu->Status->Version ID
I made a full list of all the options listed in the configuration, then sorted by option number and saw some corrolation.
H### seems to be tied to the losest level configuration of the robot, Hardware, the language, and the basic software package (arc,hand,stud,etc..).
J### seems to be tied to operational things, things that change what you are able to do within existing menus and screens, functions and utilities
R### seems to be tied to communication items, between the robot and external devices
The rest are 4 letters, or a combination of letters and numbers without much pattern, and these seem to be helpers for other items, like interfaces, core, standard, and other similar wording.
My question is, does anyone know with any more certainty exactly what the Option number/ID means? Are their other classifications? Is there a good way, besides individual request to get deeper information on each option?
