How to disable the external axis on a kuka robot krc4

    First time user on the forum and I'm looking for some help on how to disable the external axis on our kuka robot that has a krc4 controller. I'm trying not to keep changing the project to accommodate the testing with and without the external axis. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

  • if axis is connected but not used, make it asynchronous... this can be done in program.
    if axis must stay stationary, use mechanical stop to prevent motion or SafeOp or it's cousin SingleBrakeMonitor
