Got my hands on 2 kuka Kr 200 /150 Cr1 robots

Hi Guys

New here on the forum that i found when i did som serach on the internet.

i got my hands on 2 Kuka robots from a friend. (he dont know anything about them more than they where running)

now i have never been in contakt with kuka before so i dont know much about handling them except ordinary robot programmning ect.

while i fired one up yesterday i got a few alarmcodes and i cant move o do anythine with it.

iam not really sure where to begin, also been trying to find some kind of manual or such but havnt found much.

tryed to call KUKA here in my region but they told me they where old school and belongs to the junkyard ( they are 2001yrs model)
didnt get much help from there....

i think they have been welding robots from what i can tell looking at the equiptment they have.

someone willing to guide me alittle to get started with them?

i take a look tomorrow what kind of robots more specifik i have and se what kind of manuals that suits them =)

what kind of manuals suits my robots?

was thinking doing som reading before asking to much for help here,

also is it a good idea to do something like a factory reset (does it excist?) or would that damage my progress more than it does good?

these robots have tones of stuff added allaround them that i want to remove.

they was used for spotwelding i think, they have air, water, power supply wich are not connected now.

got out and these are the lateast codes.

now my first thought is that prob the emergency code is from the add on hardwere equipment.

is it possible to see more specific where the issue on the codes comes from?

feel iam a little bit closer to get it running now.

still gonna need to read thru recommended manual which one now that could be.

but the I/O config i dont know how to disable (see pic)
in config i have "1" reset and "2" reconfig to choose from, the "0" Edit I/O is shaded and cant be picked.

also only found KRC2 5.2 manuals here if they would work?

no CD at all in the cabinet only 2 floppy disks thats probebly only are backups or simular?!?!

a little bit furter on the way =)
less codes as shown, one more then been seen on picture but its same emergancy code

dont find any file at all named IOsys.ini ?
been looking in most of them not finding much useful.

had much at work for some time but so far i have read the softwere 5,2 manual.

and i tried to log in as expert but what password is used from factory?

i hope they havnt changed it....

but if they have changed it and i dont know the password what do i do then?
possible to reset it someway?

KUKA worked!

now i need to find that damn folder.... =)

now i got only

1 KS Emergency Stop
200 KS Drives Contactor Off
203 KS General Motion enable

i guess the fault is the emergency stop that make me fail to engage motion of the robot.

any idea what couses the emergancy stop?

not sure what you mean by that?

is it something i need to wire in the robot controller?

still in some learning stage with this, and i dont find much in my manual about safety interface?
and what is X11 ?

ok found something about safety gates ect on X11.. in the manual

so its a hardwere issue that need to be wired to get motion even in test mode?

The ESC safety logic, is it possible to log in somewere and see what circuts that needs to be manipulated or silmular?
