CMOS-BATCH file for UP50

  • Our Handling Motoman UP50 (UP50-RE10) robot has lost cmos due to battery was unplugged. I went into "!Maintenance mode" and done "CMOS CLEAR". Now the robot thinks it is UP6 ARC Welding robot. After normal boot is says "!Load BATCH-CMOS file" and shows alarm 1105 and 1306. After reading the forum I need to "INITIALIZE" the robot. How hard is it to get it done? We don't have a Yaskawa representative nearby.

Can anyone send me your UP50 CMOS-BATCH file? I've got a CF card with adaptor so I can Restore the CMOS.

    Thank you

  • You do not want to use someone else's batch files. A UP-50 comes in different dash numbers (Example -A00, -A01, -B0). Their robot may be different than yours. The application may be different. The optional boards may be different. You could be in a worse situation than now.

    Call Yaskawa.

I know a thing or two, because I’ve seen a thing or two. Don't even ask about a third thing. I won't know it.
