Fanuc R30ia will not start in auto

    We swapped a robot arm yesterday, keeping the controller in place. We can't get it to start in auto. It is set to start on UOP, mode other with the appropriate routine 'main' selected. UOP 1,2,3 and 8 are on. We get the UOP 6 start signal, but the robot does nothing. The teach-pendant says "paused", no alarms. It runs the main routine in manual without an issue.


    Any suggestions would it could be?

    Not posting solutions is my biggest pet peeve!
    Also, I am getting much more involved in robots than I used to be (basically just did touch-ups so far), so I probably post a lot of questions on this board and want to start out with a good impression :zwink:

    Ive also had an issue where on SYSTEM CONFIGURATION a variabel was set to remote instead of Operator Panel.
    Im using a R30iB

    Additionally, in Menu-Setup-System-Config - last line, Soft Operator Panel was set to TRUE instead of FALSE, and so setting it back AUTO mode was able to run again
