Hi all,
Before I explain what the situation is I just want to say -- I know, I've been a really big idiot here and didn't properly follow the instructions in the manuals.
I'm using a KUKA KR 3 AGILUS with KR C4 Compact controller, and I've been trying to set the arm up for a placement I'm working (with myself being the only software engineer working on this) with RobotSensorInterface.
We had a KUKA engineer come out and set the robot up and all was fine, movement could be controlled from the pendant etc. I downloaded the RSI files onto my computer and loaded up the Ethernet example, eager to try it out. Rather than copy the file onto the controller -- which I realise I should have -- I attempted to create a new project in WorkVisual and deploy it to the robot without even using the base project from the robot itself. I thankfully thought to make an archive/backup before this. So before I hit deploy I backed up (successfully, or so I thought) an archive, selecting 'All' onto a USB stick. I also made a backup on the D drive through the backup menu.
When the robot restarted after setting this new WorkVisual project as active, obviously a lot of things broke. I was suddenly getting Ethercat errors and a pretty damning "Error on reading/writing: SYS-X44" error. At this point my stomach dropped and I realised I'd really messed up.
I tried to restore from the archive I've made on the USB, and after a cold restart with "reload files" enabled I was still getting the same errors. I also tried restoring from the D drive backup but the same happened then too.
I've just tried to copy the BaseProject from the archive into WorkVisual and deploy it again, but that didn't help either and I'm still getting the same errors.
I admit I really haven't thought through properly what I've been doing and at this point I'm panicking quite a bit. What are my options here to try and "fix" the problem? Any help that anyone can offer would be really appreciated -- thank you.
