"Robot control not possible"

    So in one of my less thought-out endeavors, I started starting and stopping services on the robot controller to try to see what each would do. However, now whenever I start the HMI I get a message (after a looong time trying to connect to the robot) that says "Unable to establish connection to the KRC. Robot control not possible."
    When I turn the key as you do to switch between T1, T2, Auto, and Ext modes, it says HMI OK, but when I turn the key back to its vertical position I get a gray screen until finally it gives up and closes the HMI and I'm back to the Windows brain.


    Does anyone know how to fix this??

    After an EXTREMELY stressful 20 minutes, I got it working again! All I had to do was click on the StartKRC icon in the bottom right of the tool bar, click Stop KRC, and reboot the robot. Came right back up.


    Hopefully this never happens to y'all, but if it does... now y'all know (-:
