Hey guys, I'm doing a spreadsheet with the robots that the company I work in makes maintence from time to time and I want to know wich one of them are already over the run time for maintance. Do you guys know where can i find this information? At a first time I was looking for $ROBRUNTIME but then i realize that KUKA wouldn't expose this variable for obvious reasons. Do you know if there's any file like a .ini or a .xml just to see the value of the ROBRUNTIME variable? I found a "maintencelog.xml" in some of the robots but this file does not exist in all of them. Can you help me? Thank you!!
How can I see the ROBRUNTIME value on PC?

i think panic want to know your KSS version because some variable and function are limited in some Kss which means it only works in highers KSS version.
So it is always good to put your robot, controller and KSS in the beginning of any post .... cheers -
yes, your post is not ok, it is incomplete. you failed to provide details on your system.
we are not mind readers, there are many KSS versions and controller types. and you did not read suggested topic, for example:

2. read your own question before posting - make sure it makes sense and contains sufficient info (KSS version, controller type, robot type etc.). do not truncate version numbers - for example mentioning only major version such as "KSS8.3" is often not enough. in fact KSS8.3 has more than 30 releases and there are some significant changes among them.out of box, $ROBRUNTIME is not saved in an archive. you can of course change that, one line of code in SPS can backup $ROBRUNTIME to some variable (must be retentive, ie. declared and initialized in a DAT file)

Oh, sorry, I didn't see the part where you said "what controller and what software version?", I just saw the link. Thank you both for the hint
It's an KRC4, the KSS version is 8.2.25. Well, I don't want to see the variable ROBRUNTIME itself, just its value for me to put on the spreadsheet. Thank you guys, and sorry one more time, wont happend again -
well, if you are manually recording runtime, use menu Help>Info>Robot
btw, KSS 8.x does show maintenance reminders -
Okay. Thank you!!
