Hi guys,
I want to setup a button on the HMI (Rockwell) which enables the robot to move to home from any location in the cell.
I do understand that I need to use the CSTOPI to do the abort all and in the Program select Mode I need to set the program to whatever program I want to call (i.e. MAIN in my case). I have also understood the RSR & PNS & Style but I cant use them because then I will have to change alot in the whole project and the project is already installed on site this is something the customer has asked later.
So I am looking for a way to send the robot to home position by just one button on the HMI and the operator does not have to touch the teach pendant at all.
My question is that how do i trigger these variables (CSTOPI & my MAIN program in OTHER) from the PLC so that the robot knows that it has to abort all and move to home. Is there any input /output that I can set which will enable the robot to do an abort all and then run the program in the mentioned in the OTHER.
