Those RX90 wrists were notoriously delicate, the RX60 wrists were even less robust. The common joke was that if a Fanuc/Moto/ABB/Kuka robot crashed into the concrete floor, then we would have to repair the floor. If the Staubli crashed into the concrete floor, we would take the broken robot pieces home in a sack.
But (at the time) the Staubli was faster and more precise than anything on the market. The difference was like driving a dump truck versus a Formula 1 car.
"Stuck Joint 5 motor after collision" would make me think there is significant damage to the gears. That happened to me several times.
thanks for the replies Spot on, the gear was damaged, made a tool to hold the motor position, then rotated the gear to complete the robot task without running into the damaged area. up and running. would like to buy a spare rx90 wrist.
