KUKA KRC4 and Siemens PLC communication

    I am very new to Robot Programming. In my project i use Workvisual to create the robot trajectories and TIA Portal to program all process ...
    Can anyone help me out with how should i start my interface between kuka krc4 robot and Siemens plc?
    and what i need for that? and the communication protocol that i must use??

    For now i don't have my robot to do experiences ... that's why i want to prepare the hardware configuration both in Tia portal and workvisual, program and creat an HMI of all process in WinCC in the end ...


    So do you have any idea how to get a link between them to exchange signals??! And if it's possible i want a screen of the hardware configuration .
